Hello, I’m
Dixie. My passion for decorating and designing, both
interior and exterior, and my desire to start a business
using my creative skills and talents has resulted in prayers
being answered and dreams coming true.
After much urging from my family and friends
and years of teaching computer technology classes to high
school students, I decided I was ready to take that big step
into professional designing, thus
was born.
I started a
redesign and
real estate staging business because I wanted to
be able share my ideas with others in a way in which
everyone could profit. I still get so excited when people
ask for my advice about a room—I still think of it as
“playing” and having a “big time” at what I love to do best,
redesign. “IT’S A CREATIVE RUSH!”
I have completed certification in Interior
Redesign and Real Estate Staging, and I am Charter Member of
SDP (Society
of Decorating Professionals) a member of I.R.I.S. (Interior
Redesign Industry Specialist) and O.D.D.A.A. (One
Day Decorator Alumni Association).
I am a regular contributor as a visual designer and floral
designer to Penny’s Flowers from Heaven in Ashland City,
Tennessee. I also hold a B.S. in Business Education and a
Masters in Administration and Supervision in Education from
Austin Peay State University.
